To begin, we like to communicate with the HR contact or hiring manager to ascertain many specifics which are not always included in a written job description. These criteria include factors such as personality, attitude, and background which may parallel the given requirements, as well as other information that would qualify or disqualify a candidate from consideration for a given position.
Through meaningful and objective research into your organization, competitors and marketplace, we strive to further understand your hiring needs and requirements.
Our next step is to recruit people who are currently working in similar situations. Usually, these are people who are not reading employment advertisements or are looking for new jobs. The majority of these people are gainfully employed and relatively happy with their present employment. Our job as recruiters is to provide them with enough information about your environment, specific job requirements, and other benefits to make them consider investigating your opening as a career enhancing opportunity.
Once we have identified and evaluated a candidate of interest, we will write up a formal submittal and forward their information to you for review. If you decide to interview this person, we inform the candidate of the specifics of the interviewing process including who they will be interviewing with (names and titles) and the interview schedule.
Immediately after the interview, the candidate is required to contact us and give us their initial reaction, what we refer to as a “debrief”. The debrief allows us to gain valuable information into specific concerns or needs addressed during the interview. We will also contact the client for feedback.
After the final step of interviewing, we will have secured the candidate’s interest and “bottom line” figures for salary, vacation, etc. We will assist you in forming an acceptable offer and will act as your agent in extending the verbal/written offer to the candidate. We will also guide the candidate through the resignation and counsel on counteroffer awareness.
After an acceptance, we employ a best-in-class retention program. We assist the candidate’s transition to your company – from the resignation process through the start date and post-start date evaluation, to proactive consistent follow up.
